Blood spots or Campbell De Morgan Spots are a group of blood capillaries which have formed together causing a raised spot. Blood spots are harmless but can bleed if scratched.
The blood spots are removed by the use of our Nd-YAG laser which cauterises the blood vessels which then collapse and are absorbed by the body. There is little pain associated with the treatment and they are usually removed in one session. They are few side effects other than some redness, swelling and scabbing.
